Jaipur, September 2026 : A review meeting on the effective implementation of the Pannadhay Bal Gopal Scheme and the distribution of milk powder in schools was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary V. Srinivas.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary reviewed the progress of milk distribution in schools on a district-wise basis and sought information from officials on various aspects related to the supply system.
Timely Dispatch and Distribution of Milk Powder
The Chief Secretary directed officials to ensure that there is no unnecessary gap between the dispatch and delivery of milk powder to schools.
He said timely and regular distribution of milk powder must be ensured so that students can receive the benefits of the scheme without interruption. He instructed officials to continuously monitor the supply chain and immediately address any delays in the delivery of milk powder to schools after dispatch.
Special Focus on Districts with Low Supply
V. Srinivas directed officials to give special attention to districts where the supply of milk powder to schools is comparatively low and take steps to speed up the distribution process.
He called for regular district-wise reviews of progress and directed officials to ensure the necessary coordination in districts showing slower progress so that targets are achieved within the stipulated timeframe.
The Chief Secretary stressed that all departments concerned should work in close coordination for the effective implementation of the scheme.
Additional Chief Secretary, School Education Department, Rajesh Yadav, Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Gopalan Department, Vikas Sitaram Bhale, and senior officials of RCDF attended the meeting.
