State-Level Exhibition’s Cultural Evening Enchants Audience with Folk Music and Dance

Jaipur, December 2025 : On the final day of the state-level exhibition organized by the Department of Information and Public Relations to mark the completion of two years of the state government’s tenure, a cultural evening was held on Thursday at Jawahar Kala Kendra. Rajasthani musicians from Anjana Sharma & Party performed a melodious rendition of the devotional song “Aao Ji Mhara Pyara Vinayak….”

This was followed by a vibrant performance of the traditional Rajasthani Chari dance, which filled the atmosphere with energy and enthusiasm. In the next segment, Rajasthani folk artists mesmerized the audience with a spectacular jugalbandi (duet) of Morchang and Khadtal.

The highlight of the evening was Rajasthan’s Bhavai dance, renowned for its daring balancing acts, in which the dancer stood on a sword while balancing multiple clay pots on his head, delivering a breathtaking performance.

During the event, the Department of Information and Public Relations honored all the artists. Senior officials, employees of the department, and members of the public were present on the occasion.
