Minister Kumawat Honors Winners, Reaffirms Rajasthan’s Commitment to Cow Breed Development
Jaipur : Cow and Animal Husbandry Minister Shri Joraram Kumawat emphasized that the Rajasthan government is committed to ensuring the safety and development of cow breeds.
Shri Kumawat was speaking at the closing ceremony of the 68th Volleyball and Weightlifting Competition held at Gram Panchayat Karmawas, in the Samdari area of Balotra, on Friday.
He mentioned that the Rajasthan government is running various welfare schemes for animal husbandry. The state government has announced the conversion of the animal sub-centre in Karmawas village into an animal hospital. He also noted that Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma has increased the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi from ₹6,000 to ₹8,000. In addition, several development projects are underway in the region.
Earlier, Siwana MLA Hamir Singh Bhayal welcomed Cabinet Minister Shri Joraram Kumawat and informed him of the main demands in the tax sector. He also thanked the village’s Bhamashas (benefactors) and congratulated all the winners while distributing prizes.
