Gautam Adani Inspires Future Leaders at Adani International School Foundation Day
A Vision for Education at Adani International School
Ahmedabad : At the Foundation Day of Adani International School (AIS), Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani shared his vision for nurturing future leaders, thinkers, and innovators. Reflecting on his journey and missed opportunity to attend college, he expressed his hope to see 100 Gautam Adanis emerge from AIS—not by following his path but by forging their own.

Addressing students, teachers, and parents, Adani said, “My wish is for at least 100 leaders to come from this school over the next decades—leaders who create businesses, solve global challenges, and lead with integrity.”
Adani highlighted the origins of AIS, conceived during the challenging pandemic of 2020. “It was a moment of reflection that gave birth to this vision—a platform where children thrive academically and grow amid open spaces, connected to both nature and innovation,” he said.
Emphasizing the impact of childhood experiences, he recalled his upbringing in Banaskantha, which shaped his social behavior and values. “If my childhood shaped my behavior, my parents shaped my core values,” he noted, adding, “While I regret not completing college, I now see the immense value education offers in shaping a person’s potential.”
Adani called on students to embrace their role as global ambassadors of a thriving, modern India. “You are part of a generation with unmatched potential. Education will be your foundation to take India to the world and bring the world to India,” he said.
Three Guiding Principles for Students
Adani outlined three principles to guide students at AIS:
- Dream Relentlessly: Think beyond boundaries, challenge norms, and dream fearlessly. India’s greatness depends on visionaries like you.
- Learn Relentlessly: Success belongs to those who embrace learning. Stay curious and resilient, even in failure.
- Build Relentlessly: Use your dreams and knowledge to create something impactful that uplifts others and inspires future generations.
Adani urged parents to instill values of resilience, empathy, and service in their children. “Give them roots so they never forget their origins. Teach them that success is not just personal—it’s about creating a better world,” he said.
He concluded by encouraging students to innovate boldly in today’s India, a nation brimming with opportunities. “Build something remarkable. The future is yours to shape,” Adani affirmed.
