Lundra Constituency Receives ₹3.10 Crore Boost in Education Sector

Raipur, Sept 2025 : In Kirkima Gram Panchayat under Lundra Janpad Panchayat of Surguja district, the foundation stone for a 50-seater high school hostel was laid today in the presence and leadership of Lundra MLA Shri Prabodh Minj.

MLA Minj inaugurated the construction work of the hostel, which will be built at a cost of ₹174.94 lakh. He also laid the foundation stone for a new building of Government High School, Silsila, with a budget of ₹120.18 lakh, and inaugurated a newly constructed building of Primary School Khalpara Kot, built at a cost of ₹14.85 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Minj said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state government is giving top priority to education. The government is committed to equipping every school with the necessary resources. “Education provides us with knowledge, skills, and confidence. I believe these new educational facilities will serve as a strong foundation for a brighter future for the children of this region,” he added.

The event was attended by District Panchayat Vice-President Shri Devnarayan Yadav, Janpad Panchayat President Smt. Krishna Pawle, Vice-President Smt. Kanchan Jaiswal, along with a large number of public representatives, villagers, teachers, and parents.
