White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reaffirmed the administration’s confidence in Patel, stating that the president remains satisfied with the performance of the FBI and the broader law enforcement team. “The president still has confidence in the FBI director and in our law and order team to continue the work they have been doing effectively over the past year and a half,” she said.
