Ensure Ayushman cards for every needy person: Chief Minister

CM Yogi Adityanath listened to problems of 200 people in Janata Darshan for the second consecutive day

Chief Minister assured people that the govt stands with every needy person

Gorakhpur, May 2026 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his stay in Gorakhpur, met people and listened to their problems on Wednesday morning for the second consecutive day at the Janata Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple. During the Janata Darshan, he asked those who had come seeking financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses about their Ayushman cards and assured them that the government would fully support their treatment.

He directed the officials present there to ensure that every eligible and needy person gets an Ayushman card so that they do not face difficulties in getting treatment.

During the Janata Darshan held outside Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan, CM Yogi met around 200 people. He went up to them, listened to their problems, examined their applications, and took cognizance of their issues and complaints.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister told the people not to worry, as the government stands with every needy person. Referring the applications to the concerned administrative and police officials for different cases, he directed that all issues must be resolved in a timely, impartial, and satisfactory manner.

As in every Janata Darshan, on Wednesday too, some people had come seeking financial help for treatment. Chief Minister asked them about the Ayushman card and assured them that no one’s treatment would stop due to lack of funds. As soon as the hospital estimate is received, financial assistance will be provided from the discretionary fund.

During the Janata Darshan, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure redressal of every grievance of the public, with no laxity in the process.

In the Janata Darshan, some women had come along with their children. Chief Minister showed affection to the children, blessed them, and gave them chocolates.
During this time, he also had light-hearted interaction with two children who had come with a woman and encouraged them to go to school.
