PM Modi’s Visits to Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan Residences Mark Warm Personal Moments in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, May 2026 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited the residences of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad, with both meetings marked by warm interactions, personal conversations, and emotional exchanges between the leaders and their families.
After hosting the Prime Minister at his residence, Chandrababu Naidu described the evening as a memorable occasion that his family would cherish forever.
“It was an honour and a pleasure to host Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji at our residence today. His warmth, affection, and generous interaction made this occasion truly special for all of us,” Naidu wrote in a post on X.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister also thanked the Prime Minister for his continued encouragement and support towards the development of Andhra Pradesh.
“I thank the Hon’ble Prime Minister for this gracious gesture and for his constant encouragement and support towards the development journey of Andhra Pradesh,” he added.
Prime Minister Modi also shared his thoughts about the meeting through a post on X.
“In Hyderabad, went to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu Garu’s residence and met him along with his family. It’s always a delight to meet them and exchange views on so many diverse topics,” the Prime Minister posted.

At the residence, Chandrababu Naidu, his wife Bhuvaneswari Nara, son and Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh, daughter-in-law Brahmani Nara, and grandson Devansh warmly welcomed the Prime Minister.
The meeting reportedly lasted for over an hour and was filled with lighthearted conversations, laughter, and discussions on development, governance, and personal well-being.
One of the memorable moments during the interaction came when the discussion shifted towards health and fitness. Chandrababu Naidu mentioned that Nara Lokesh’s disciplined fitness transformation was inspired by his very first meeting with Prime Minister Modi.
Impressed by Lokesh’s weight-loss journey and fitness discipline, PM Modi reportedly joked with the young leader, advising him not to lose any more weight as he was already quite slim.
Responding warmly, Nara Lokesh described the Prime Minister as his greatest inspiration when it comes to fitness and work ethic.

Lokesh remarked that despite being 75 years old and carrying the enormous responsibility of leading the country, Modi possesses the energy and agility of “three 25-year-olds.” He added that he remains committed to maintaining his physical fitness while drawing continuous motivation from the Prime Minister’s lifestyle and dedication to public service.
Upon entering the residence, PM Modi also noticed a framed photograph related to the “Yuvagalam” coffee table book, which he had unveiled in New Delhi exactly a year ago. The Prime Minister fondly recalled memories associated with the event, creating another nostalgic moment during the gathering.
During the visit, the Prime Minister also offered prayers at the Ram temple located within Chandrababu Naidu’s residence premises.
Naidu shared with Modi the significance of the temple and explained that the Panchaloha idols of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita installed there had been gifted by legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao.
Nara Lokesh later reflected on his political journey and said both Modi and Chandrababu Naidu serve as his guiding mentors — one at the national level and the other at the state level.
He reportedly stated that his goal is to match their pace and commitment in delivering welfare and development for the people.
As part of the traditional honours extended during the meeting, Lokesh presented Prime Minister Modi with a specially woven handloom shawl from his home constituency of Mangalagiri and explained its cultural and artistic importance.
The gathering concluded with Chandrababu Naidu expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Central government for their continued support towards Andhra Pradesh’s growth and development initiatives.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi also visited the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad and met his family members.
“Went to the residence of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Pawan Kalyan Garu and met him as well as his family. Enquired about Pawan Kalyan Garu’s well-being and wished him good health,” PM Modi posted on X.

Responding to the Prime Minister’s message, Pawan Kalyan expressed heartfelt gratitude and described the visit as deeply emotional and unforgettable for his family.
“The memories you have given us will be cherished for the rest of our life,” the Jana Sena Party leader wrote.
Pawan Kalyan said he, along with his wife Anna Konidala and children Konidala Akira Nandan, Konidala Aadya, Konidala Polina Anjani, and Konidala Mark Shankar, felt honoured to welcome the Prime Minister into their home.
He stated that PM Modi’s decision to personally visit him during his recovery reflected the Prime Minister’s warmth, affection, and humane leadership qualities.
“Despite his hectic schedule and immense responsibilities, he took time to visit and extend his support, a gesture that I deeply value and cherish,” Pawan Kalyan said.
The Deputy Chief Minister recalled that after his surgery on April 19, Prime Minister Modi had personally called him to enquire about his health and offer reassurance and encouragement during a difficult period.
Pawan Kalyan said Modi’s continued concern during his recovery demonstrated his compassionate and people-centric approach to leadership.
“Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji treats every individual like family, always placing the well-being of people at the heart of his thoughts and actions,” he wrote.
Describing the Prime Minister as a leader who combines strong governance with humility and emotional connection, Pawan Kalyan said Modi’s blessings, guidance, and affectionate support would always remain special to him.
He concluded by thanking the Prime Minister for the memorable visit and for his constant encouragement and guidance.
