Chairperson of National Commission for Backward Classes to Visit Raipur on June 7

Raipur, June 2026 : The Chairperson of the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) and former Union Minister of State, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, will undertake a one-day official visit to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on June 7, 2026.

To assist during the visit, Rajendra Kumar Nishad, Private Secretary (Mobile: 8756342092), and Ritik Vishwakarma (Mobile: 7266050609) will accompany the Chairperson throughout the programme.

According to the schedule, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti will depart from New Delhi at 6:30 a.m. and arrive in Raipur at 8:15 a.m. on June 7.

At 9:30 a.m., she will meet a delegation representing backward-class communities at the State Guest House, Raipur.

At 10:30 a.m., she will pay a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. This will be followed by a courtesy meeting with the Governor of Chhattisgarh at 12:00 noon.

Later in the day, at 2:00 p.m., the NCBC Chairperson will participate in the Social Progress and Reflection Conference of Backward Class Organisations at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium, Budhapara, Raipur.

At 3:00 p.m., she will chair a review meeting at the State Guest House, Raipur, to assess the implementation of welfare schemes for backward classes. The meeting will be attended by the Chief Secretary of the Chhattisgarh Government, the Chairperson and members of the Chhattisgarh State Backward Classes Commission, and the Principal Secretary of the Backward Class Development Department, among other senior officials.

Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti is scheduled to depart from Raipur at 6:40 p.m. on the same day and return to New Delhi.
