The MoU marks the beginning of efforts to create Jashpur’s first organized homestay village. The initiative aims to establish a well-structured and scalable homestay-based rural tourism ecosystem, ensuring active participation of local families, strengthening sustainable livelihoods, and promoting entrepreneurship among youth and women through capacity building and skill development.
The core objective of this project is to preserve and promote local culture, traditions, and natural heritage, ensuring that tourism development remains inclusive, community-owned, environmentally sustainable, and that the region’s cultural identity is safeguarded.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Sai by Collector Jashpur Shri Rohit Vyas, Chief Executive Officer Shri Vinod Verma, and representatives of Homestays of India Pvt. Ltd.
