‘Vande Mataram@150’ Exhibition at JKK Ignites Patriotic Spirit
Jaipur, January 2026 : As part of the second phase of Vande Mataram@150, a special cultural and educational programme was organised on Sunday at the Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK), Jaipur. The events are being held across the state under the theme “Mantra of Freedom—Vande Mataram” and “Mantra of Prosperity—Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
Joint Secretary of the Department of Art, Literature and Culture and Additional Director General of Jawahar Kala Kendra, Anuradha Gogiya, informed that to mark 150 years of the composition of the national song “Vande Mataram,” a special exhibition showcasing historical facts and significant information related to the song was organised at JKK. She said the exhibition attracted keen interest from visitors and received an enthusiastic response.
During the programme, young artists, art enthusiasts, visitors, and officials of Jawahar Kala Kendra participated in the collective singing of Vande Mataram, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotism. A specially created selfie point also witnessed enthusiastic participation from young and senior artists, students from various colleges and schools, and JKK officials.
The active involvement of youth and students made the event dignified, inspiring, and rich in national consciousness. Anuradha Gogiya noted that the initiative “Selfie with Vande Mataram” clearly reflected a strong sense of patriotism among the participants and visitors, further strengthening the spirit of nationalism.
