IMMA To Organise 06th National Crop Nutrition Summit & B2B Expo In Mumbai On February 05th & 06th.

Mumbai; January 2026: The Indian Micro-Fertilisers Manufacturers Association (IMMA) will organise the 06th National Crop Nutrition Summit & B2B Expo on February 05th and 06th, 2026, at the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai.

The two-day event will bring together central and state agriculture policymakers, regulators, industry representatives, scientists, startups and global experts to deliberate on policy, regulation, innovation and market development in India’s agri-input sector. The summit will be held under the theme “Converge, Collaborate & Co-create” and will focus on crop nutrition, specialty fertilisers, biologicals, micronutrients, and India’s role in global agri-input manufacturing.

The summit will be inaugurated by the Minister of Marketing & Protocol, Government of Maharashtra, Jayakumar Jitendrasinh Rawal. The Agriculture Commissioner, Government of India, Dr P. K. Singh, will attend as Guest of Honour and is expected to outline the government’s perspective on agri-input reforms, ease of doing business, export competitiveness and the role of specialty crop nutrition products.

Participants will include senior officials from the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), national research institutions, State Agriculture Departments, and Commissioners of Agriculture from several states, including Maharashtra. The event will also see participation from CEOs, CMDs and founders of agri-input companies, along with representatives from consulting and financial institutions such as Deloitte and Yes Bank, policy experts and senior business journalists.

Summit Agenda –

Day 1: themed Converge & Collaborate, will feature the inaugural session, a policy dialogue on the proposal for One Nation, One License to address regulatory challenges, a farmer recognition program, and a roundtable discussion on integrating micronutrients and biologicals into fertiliser policy. The agenda also includes a “Media Speaks” session on regulatory and business issues in agri inputs, a startup pitch platform, and industry networking sessions.

Day 2: themed Co-Create, will focus on structured B2B meetings, masterclasses on international trade, institutional and government business, fundraising, and sessions on manufacturing, data analytics and digital technologies. The summit will conclude with an Industry–Government–Startup Conclave and a closing policymakers’ interaction.

IMMA stated that the summit will highlight policy priorities such as implementation of One Nation, One License, faster approval processes for micronutrients, biologicals and specialty fertilisers, differentiation between subsidised and non-subsidised agri inputs, export-oriented regulations, and stronger enforcement against counterfeit and sub-standard products. The association will also emphasise the role of precision nutrition, biologicals and regenerative inputs in future crop nutrition strategies.

Dr. Rahul Mirchandani, President, IMMA, said the summit aims to facilitate dialogue between the government, industry and research institutions to support policy reforms and sectoral growth.

Sameer Pathare, Vice President, IMMA, said the platform is expected to support collaboration among startups, established companies and policymakers, with a focus on innovation, technology adoption and export opportunities.

India’s crop nutrition segment is witnessing increasing demand for micronutrients, specialty fertilisers and biological inputs, driven by soil health challenges and changing farming practices. The National Crop Nutrition Summit will provide a forum to discuss policy reforms, precision nutrition and domestic and global manufacturing opportunities in this segment.
