Justice with Dignity Reaches the Last in Line – Justice Dr. Pushpendra Singh Bhati
Jaipur, Jan 2026: Under the aegis of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, in collaboration with the Jaipur District Legal Services Authority and the district administration, a Nyaya Seva Sangam Mega Public Welfare Camp was organized on Thursday at Navalkha Stadium, Amer. The chief guest of the camp was Justice Dr. Pushpendra Singh Bhati of the Rajasthan High Court, while distinguished guest Justice and Chairperson of the Rajasthan High Court Legal Services Committee, Inderjit Singh, was also present.
Justice Dr. Bhati stated that the Nyaya Seva Sangam represents a changing India, where even the poorest and most marginalized citizens standing in the last row are being provided justice with dignity. He added that the Legal Services Authority is emerging as a strong medium to make justice accessible to the general public.
Distinguished guest Justice Inderjit Singh emphasized that providing affordable, accessible, and timely justice is the fundamental spirit of the Constitution. During the camp, under the Victim Compensation Scheme, a cheque of ₹9 lakh was distributed, and through Rajeevika CLFs, approximately ₹50 lakh in cheques was handed over to self-help groups.
The mega camp, held in the presence of District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, brought together 20 government departments on a single platform to provide services. Departments including Social Justice & Empowerment, Municipal Corporation, Revenue, Health, Education, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Election, and AYUSH offered certificates, OPD services, pensions, scooters, bicycles, land records, and PM Suryaghar Scheme benefits on the spot.
During the event, numerous services and approvals were provided directly to citizens. The Jaipur Municipal Corporation issued 52 death certificates, 46 marriage certificates, and 5 new land leases. The Amer Tehsildar issued 115 domicile certificates, 215 caste certificates, and 51 birth-death affidavits. The Block Chief Medical Officer of Amer delivered 705 OPD services.
Meanwhile, the Social Security Officer distributed 34 scooters, and the Education Department provided 168 bicycles. The Election Department facilitated 207 Form-6, 32 Form-7, and 78 Form-8 applications. AYUSH/Health Department conducted 440 OPDs and distributed medicinal decoctions. The Women & Child Development Department informed 450 beneficiaries about departmental schemes.
Additionally, JVVNL received 42 applications for the PM Suryaghar scheme, while the Agriculture Department prepared 42 soil health cards and processed 10 fencing applications. Overall, the mega camp efficiently provided rapid services from multiple departments at one location.
The District Legal Services Authority also distributed UID cards to eligible individuals under NALSA and RALSA schemes, Justice at Your Door, Mediation for Nation, Legal Services Literature, and the Creation Safety Campaign.
The event was attended by Secretary, Jaipur District Legal Services Authority, Pawan Jeenwal, Secretary Jaipur Metro-2, Pallavi Sharma, Kishore Talepa, Sub-Divisional Officer Amer, Bajrang Lal Swami, along with numerous beneficiaries and citizens. Students from a private university’s law department performed an impressive dance on NALSA’s theme song, bringing its message to life and earning appreciation from the chief guests.
