Governor Acharya Devvrat Administers Oath of Deputy Chief Minister to Sunetra Pawar
Mumbai, January 31, 2026: Maharashtra Governor Acharya Devvrat on Friday administered the oath of office and secrecy to Sunetra Ajit Pawar as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state.

The oath-taking ceremony was held in a simple manner at Raj Bhavan (Lok Bhavan). Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narwekar, Deputy Chairperson of the Legislative Council Dr. Neelam Gorhe, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Anna Bansode, members of the state cabinet, public representatives, Chief Secretary Rajesh Agarwal, senior administrative and police officials, along with Sunetra Pawar’s family members and invited dignitaries, were present on the occasion.
