Good Governance Festival 2026: Sanjita’s Aadhaar Card Updated at Murta Camp, Relief from Running Around Offices

Villagers Receiving Quick Relief Through Public Grievance Redressal Camps Across Rural Areas

Raipur, May 2026, 2026: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the statewide “Sushasan Tihar 2026” campaign is emerging as an effective platform for the quick resolution of public grievances. At a public grievance redressal camp organised in Gram Panchayat Murta under Sitapur development block of Surguja district, Sanjita, a resident of Langadasand village, had her Aadhaar card updated on the spot, bringing relief to a long-pending problem.

No More Running from Office to Office

Earlier, villagers had to make repeated visits to tehsil headquarters, Common Service Centres (CSCs), and other government offices for Aadhaar card corrections or updates. This often resulted in both loss of time and additional expenses.

At the camp organised under the Sushasan Tihar initiative, Sanjita successfully updated her Aadhaar card and received immediate assistance without facing any inconvenience.

Expressing happiness, Sanjita said her Aadhaar card was updated at the camp held in Murta Panchayat itself, and she did not have to wander from one office to another for the service.

Easier Access to Government Schemes

With her Aadhaar card now updated, Sanjita will find it easier to access ration benefits, banking services, pension facilities, and other government welfare schemes. Officials said the initiative is proving especially beneficial for rural women and citizens who often face difficulties in accessing government services.

Gratitude to the Chief Minister

Sanjita thanked Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and said that the camps being organised across villages are helping people get their problems resolved quickly. She added that rural residents no longer need to make repeated visits to government offices and are receiving timely relief through these camps.

Multiple Departments Provided Services

The grievance redressal camp organised in Murta included service counters from departments such as Revenue, Panchayat, Women and Child Development, Health, and several other government agencies.

A large number of applications submitted by villagers were resolved at the camp itself, and beneficiaries received immediate assistance. Through the Sushasan Tihar initiative, the state government’s welfare schemes are effectively reaching the last person in the queue.
