Lives transforming through public welfare schemes: Chief Minister distributes beneficiary-oriented materials
Raipur, February 2026 : The Chief Minister distributed beneficiary-oriented materials under various public welfare schemes.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today distributed beneficiary-oriented materials to eligible beneficiaries under several public welfare schemes during his visit to Korea district, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Korea Festival.
At the event, the Chief Minister provided gas connections to 105 eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. He said that through this scheme, these families will now be freed from smoke and will have access to safe, clean, and health-friendly fuel, bringing positive changes to the lives of women.
On this occasion, with the objective of promoting self-employment and women’s empowerment, six Aajeevika Didis were provided Pink E-Rickshaws (Rural Livelihood Express). The Chief Minister said that this initiative is an important step towards increasing women’s income and making them self-reliant, while also giving new momentum to the rural economy.
To strengthen the district’s sanitation system, the Chief Minister also distributed garbage rickshaws to 14 Swachhta Didis. He said that cleanliness is not merely an administrative arrangement but a people’s movement, and the participation of women in this mission is commendable.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the state government’s goal is to ensure that the benefits of schemes reach the last person in society, so that every section of the population can be connected to the mainstream of development. He added that the government is continuously working with a firm commitment to public welfare and self-reliance.
