Notice on Inspection of Gas Cylinders and Accessories in Lunglei
Lunglei, February 2026: The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Lunglei District, Ms. Zoramdini, has issued a notice informing that the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) will conduct inspections of gas cylinders in use and their related accessories within Lunglei District starting from February 18, 2026.
The inspection will check whether the gas cylinders and accessories being used by consumers are safe and in proper condition. For this inspection, customers covered under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) will be required to pay a fee of ₹59, while non-PMUY customers will have to pay ₹236.
