CM Bids Warm Farewell to GOV
Chief Minister Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday accorded a warm send-off to Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla at Lok Bhawan. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, Leader of Opposition Shri Jai Ram Thakur, members of the State Cabinet, public representatives, senior officers and prominent citizens on the occasion.
Chairman, Himachal Pradesh Public service Commission Capt. Rameshwar Singh Thakur, Chief Secretary Shri Sanjay Gupta, Director General of Police Shri Ashok Tiwari, Vice-Chancellors of various universities, senior officers of the State Government and other dignitaries from different walks of life were also present to bid farewell to the Governor.
On the occasion, the Governor was presented a ceremonial Guard of Honour as a mark of respect and recognition of his service to the State.
The gathering extended their best wishes to Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla for his future responsibilities and appreciated his contributions and guidance during his tenure in Himachal Pradesh. The occasion was marked by warmth and gratitude as dignitaries and officials gathered to convey their good wishes to the Governor.
