CM Nitish Kumar Reviews Development and Welfare Schemes During Samriddhi Yatra
Patna, March 2026: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reviewed various development and welfare schemes related to Banka district during his “Samriddhi Yatra” visit on Monday.
The review meeting was held at the Degree College परिसर in Katoria block of Banka district, where the Chief Minister assessed the progress of multiple government initiatives. During the session, District Magistrate Navdeep Shukla gave a detailed presentation on schemes linked to the yatra, as well as those under “Saat Nischay-2” and “Saat Nischay-3.”
The Chief Minister directed officials to accelerate the implementation of approved schemes and ensure better execution of ongoing projects. He stressed the importance of timely completion with full commitment and sensitivity, adding that the government is continuously working in the public interest and expects the benefits of its initiatives to reach people effectively.
Nitish Kumar reiterated that the government has set a target of providing jobs and employment opportunities to one crore youth over the next five years. He said efforts are being made to promote industries and self-employment by offering various incentives, including special financial packages to entrepreneurs.
Highlighting the state’s industrial push, he said facilities are being expanded across districts to encourage investment and generate employment. The objective, he noted, is to make Bihar’s youth skilled, self-reliant, and economically secure.
The Chief Minister also spoke about the state’s startup policy aimed at encouraging young people to launch their own ventures. He added that initiatives under “Saat Nischay-3,” particularly those focused on improving ease of living, are being implemented to reduce daily hardships and enhance citizens’ quality of life.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, several ministers, senior officials, and district authorities.
