CM Yogi reviews preparations for inauguration of Noida International Airport, PM Modi to inaugurate on March 28
Chief Minister conducts site inspection and review meeting, gives comprehensive directions on security, traffic and facilities

Gautam Buddha Nagar, March 2026 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations for proposed inauguration ceremony of Noida International Airport on Sunday through an on-site inspection. During this, he also held a review meeting with public representatives and senior officials, directing them to complete all arrangements within stipulated time and as per standards.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Noida International Airport, Jewar, along with the cargo terminal on March 28. He will also lay the foundation stone of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) project. Preparations are in full swing to make the event grand and successful.
During the inspection, Chief Minister reviewed the proposed route of Prime Minister’s visit and inspection points. He gathered information about the ongoing preparations at key locations including passenger terminal, cargo terminal, rally venue, parking areas, various routes, helipad and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials.
After the inspection, a review meeting was held in the auditorium within airport premises, where detailed discussions took place regarding overall preparations, security arrangements and operational plans. CM Yogi directed all departments to work in coordination and fulfill their responsibilities within the set deadlines. He emphasized that considering the presence of public representatives, dignitaries, media and a large number of people, arrangements should be systematic and efficient.
Chief Minister stressed extensive branding and publicity to give the event a grand and world-class appeal so that maximum people are informed. He instructed officials to ensure timely arrangements for smooth connectivity of all routes linked to the venue, cleanliness, uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, toilets, security, traffic management, transport facilities, fire safety, medical services and proper signage.
Additionally, directions were given to provide mobile toilets, help desks, drinking water and medical facilities at parking areas for people coming from different districts.
CM instructed adequate deployment of administration, police and volunteers at venue to avoid any inconvenience to public. During the meeting, administration and police presented a detailed plan for security, traffic management, parking and alternate routes through a power presentation. It has been decided to implement a four-layer security system for the event.
On this occasion, Minister-in-Charge Brijesh Singh, BJP Regional President Satyendra Sisodia, District President Abhishek Sharma, Metropolitan President Mahesh Chauhan, Member of Parliament Dr. Mahesh Sharma, MLA Dhirendra Singh, MLA Tejpal Nagar and Member of Legislative Council Shrichand Sharma, along with several other public representatives, were present.
Additionally, Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar, Secretary to CM Amit Singh, Divisional Commissioner Bhanu Chandra Goswami, CEO of Yamuna Authority Rakesh Kumar Singh, Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh, District Magistrate Medha Rupam and other senior officials also attended the meeting.
