Pawan Kalyan Thanks Leaders and Film Fraternity for Wishes After Surgery

Hyderabad, April 2026 : Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Sunday expressed gratitude to leaders across political parties and members of the film industry for their wishes following his recent surgery in Hyderabad.

The actor-politician, who reportedly underwent a sinusitis-related procedure at a private hospital, said he is recovering steadily and thanked everyone for their concern and prayers. Responding to messages shared on social media, he conveyed appreciation for the support extended to him during his recovery.

Among those who wished him well was his elder brother, megastar K. Chiranjeevi, who reassured fans about his health. In a social media post, Chiranjeevi said that Pawan Kalyan had successfully undergone the procedure and is “safe, stable, and recovering well.” He added that doctors have advised about a week of rest before he resumes normal activities, urging well-wishers not to worry.

Responding to his brother’s message, Pawan Kalyan expressed heartfelt thanks, describing Chiranjeevi’s words as a source of strength and encouragement. He said he hopes to recover soon and return to serving society with renewed energy.

Another elder brother, K. Naga Babu, also extended his wishes, stating that Pawan Kalyan is recovering well and will soon return with greater strength. He called on supporters to continue praying for his speedy recovery, adding that the leader’s resilience remains an inspiration to many.

The outpouring of support extended beyond the family, with several prominent figures from the Telugu film industry sending their best wishes. Actors Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, and Sai Dharam Tej were among those who conveyed messages hoping for his quick recovery.

Former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also wished him well, prompting a response from Pawan Kalyan, who said he was recovering steadily and appreciated the concern shown.

Union ministers G. Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, and Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, along with state leaders such as Nara Lokesh and others, also extended their wishes.
