UPSIDA allots 13,532.82 sq meter land to ALIMCO for setting up warehouse in Trans Ganga City, Unnao

Lucknow/Kanpur : Under the leadership of the Yogi government, the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) has successfully attracted significant investments by actively implementing state policies and adapting its own strategies. In a recent development, UPSIDA has allocated 13,532.82 square meters of land in Trans Ganga City to ALIMCO for the establishment of a new warehouse.

This facility is expected to serve over 1 lakh consumers, further contributing to the state’s economic growth and development

ALIMCO, a public sector enterprise under the Government of India, is dedicated to providing rehabilitation assistance to persons with disabilities. It manufactures ‘state of the art’ assistive devices and aids for persons with disabilities and also plays a crucial role as the nodal agency under ADIP (Integrated Disability Assistance Scheme) and Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana.

The corporation’s offerings include a wide range of products such as motorized tricycles, standard tricycles, wheelchairs, and behind-the-ear hearing aids. Beyond manufacturing, ALIMCO is also committed to empowering individuals with disabilities by offering free training programs.

The company’s extensive product line further includes orthotic and prosthetic devices, spinal braces, cervical collars, traction kits, and various rehabilitation aids like crutches, tri-wheelers, and mobility devices for both the elderly and disabled populations.

In addition to industrial plots, the Trans Ganga area offers a variety of commercial plots available for development. These include 5,443 sq m for a club, 4,034 sq m for a community center, 9,643 sq m for a senior secondary school, and 19,769 sq m for a hospital.

Other available plots include 5,320 sq m for a multi-purpose hall (Banquet Hall), 4,751 sq m for a working women’s hostel, 7,832 sq m for an office/BPO-1, 2,504 sq m for a petrol/CNG filling station, and 14,237 sq m for sector shopping. These plots are being offered through an e-auction by UPSIDA, with the final bidding date set for September 3, 2024.
