People of Ujjain Setting New Example by Cooperating in Singhasth-Related Works: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that road widening works are being carried out for Singhasth-2028 to enhance convenience for devotees and local people. The government is continuously monitoring all works. All projects for Singhasth are being executed in such a manner that ancient and religious city Ujjain receives long-term benefits from them. Public representatives of Ujjain, followers of all religions and citizens are supporting development works and, through their cooperation, are setting a new example for country.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on Friday visited Ram Ghat in Ujjain and inspected road widening work from Harsiddhi Pal to Ram Ghat route. During inspection, the Chief Minister directed officials to complete works within stipulated time-frame with speed and quality, keeping convenience of devotees in view.

Observes Flood Rescue Training Organised by Home Guard

After inspecting the road widening work from Harsiddhi Pal to Ram Ghat, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also observed flood rescue training organised by Home Guard. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav encouraged Home Guard personnel undergoing training and accepted salute of jawans. District Commandant Shri Santosh Kumar Jat informed that Home Guard is providing 15-day training to 250 Home Guard jawans for flood rescue, including deep diving, boating, swimming, method of using life jackets, proper use of disaster and flood rescue equipment, underwater rescue and surface water rescue.

During inspection, Ujjain Development Authority Chairman Shri Ravi Solanki, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Balyogi Umeshnath Maharaj, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda, Shri Sanjay Agrawal, Singhastha Fair Officer-cum-Divisional Commissioner Shri Ashish Singh, ADGP Shri Rakesh Gupta and other public representatives were present.
