Government Reaching Every Village with the Message of Good Governance; Chief Minister Personally Visits to Assess Ground Reality of Welfare Schemes

Raipur, June 2026 : As part of the statewide Good Governance Festival (Sushasan Tihar), Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today visited the remote forest village of Kondapalli in Bijapur district.

During a public interaction session (Jan Chaupal) organized in the village, the Chief Minister directly interacted with local residents, listened to their grievances, assessed the ground-level implementation of government schemes, and met beneficiaries of various welfare programmes to understand the positive changes these initiatives have brought to their lives.

Chief Minister Sai said that Sushasan Tihar is not merely an administrative campaign but also a means of strengthening trust between the government and the people. He stated that the state government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the last person in society and that no deserving citizen has to struggle to access their rights and entitlements. With this spirit, the government is reaching villages directly, listening to people’s concerns, and making efforts to resolve them.

During the Jan Chaupal, the Chief Minister visited stalls set up by various government departments and distributed benefits under several welfare schemes. These included Forest Rights Recognition Certificates, caste and residence certificates, benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, labour cards, farmer welfare schemes, and other government programmes.

He also interacted with beneficiaries to learn about the impact of these schemes and hear about their experiences.

Chief Minister Sai issued clear instructions to officials to ensure that applications and grievances received from rural areas are resolved within a stipulated timeframe and on a priority basis. He said that the true success of any government scheme can be measured only when its benefits reach eligible individuals at the right time and when citizens experience the government’s sensitivity and responsiveness.

The Chief Minister assured villagers that the government is working with full commitment and sensitivity to address their concerns and that no effort would be spared in ensuring the development of the region.

He further stated that bringing a new wave of development to remote and forested regions, including Bastar, is among the state government’s highest priorities. Through Sushasan Tihar, governance is reaching people’s doorsteps, resulting not only in the quick resolution of issues but also in strengthening public trust in the administration.

On the occasion, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh, Special Secretary Rajat Bansal, and several other dignitaries were present.
