Rs. 30 Crore Distributed under Gopinath Munde Farmers Accident Safety Relief Grant Scheme

Mumbai : The Agriculture Department has approved the disbursement of Rs. 30 crore under the Gopinath Munde Farmers Accident Safety Relief Grant Scheme. A government decision has been issued regarding this approval. The scheme, which provides compensation to farmers in case of disability or death due to accidents, was introduced by amending the original Gopinath Munde Farmers Accident Insurance Scheme.

Under this initiative, the government has sanctioned a grant of Rs. 30 crore from the current financial year’s provision to settle the approved proposals for the financial year 2024-25.
