Aamir Khan Marries Gauri Spratt in an Intimate Mumbai Ceremony

Mumbai, July 2026 : Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has officially begun a new chapter in his personal life after marrying longtime partner Gauri Spratt in an intimate wedding ceremony held at his Mumbai residence on Sunday. The private celebration was attended by close family members, friends and a select group of distinguished guests from the film industry and public life.

The couple exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony, opting for understated elegance in coordinated cream and beige outfits. A photograph released by Aamir’s publicist captured the newlyweds signing their marriage documents, surrounded by their loved ones, marking the official solemnisation of their union.

Aamir’s children from his previous marriages were among those present for the special occasion. His elder son Junaid Khan, daughter Ira Khan and younger son Azad joined other members of the Khan family in celebrating the wedding.

Several prominent personalities from the entertainment industry also attended the ceremony despite heavy monsoon showers and a red alert issued in Mumbai due to incessant rainfall. Among those seen arriving to bless the couple were acclaimed filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, actor-comedian Vir Das and Maharashtra political leader Raj Thackeray.

The marriage marks Aamir Khan’s third. The actor first married Reena Dutta in 1986, and the couple had two children, Junaid and Ira, before separating in 2002. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. They welcomed their son Azad through surrogacy before announcing their separation in 2021. Despite ending their marriage, Aamir and Kiran have continued to maintain an amicable relationship while co-parenting their son and collaborating professionally.

Gauri Spratt has built her career in the fashion and beauty industry, having worked with a Bengaluru-based salon enterprise before becoming associated with Aamir Khan Productions. The couple are believed to have known each other for more than 25 years, although their friendship evolved into a romantic relationship only in recent years. Gauri was previously married and has a son from her earlier marriage.

Aamir had publicly confirmed his relationship with Gauri earlier this year while celebrating his 60th birthday. He later revealed that the wedding would take place on July 5 during the screening of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s series Pritam and Pedro.

Speaking about the ceremony, the actor had said that the wedding would be a small and intimate affair hosted at home, attended only by both families and a handful of close friends. Staying true to those plans, the couple chose a simple yet meaningful celebration, focusing on their loved ones rather than a grand public event.
