Deputy CM Sunetra Ajit Pawar Inaugurates Deputy Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Cell in Beed

Beed, July 2026 : Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Beed district Guardian Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar inaugurated the Deputy Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Cell at the District Collector’s Office on Friday.

During the inauguration, Pawar paid floral tribute to the portrait of former Deputy Chief Minister and late Ajit Pawar.

MP Bajrang Sonawane, MLAs Dhananjay Munde, Prakash Solanke, Sandeep Kshirsagar, Vijaysinh Pandit, Vikram Kale and Suresh Dhas, Guardian Secretary Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, District Collector Vivek Johnson, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Jitin Rehman, Superintendent of Police Navneet Kanwat, Resident Deputy Collector Shivkumar Swami, Head of the Deputy Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Cell Dr Sudhir Raut and senior officials were present on the occasion.

Through the Deputy Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Cell, the process of providing financial assistance for free treatment of serious illnesses to eligible beneficiaries under various government schemes will be made easier.

The cell will play an important role in coordinating among hospitals, patients and their families to ensure that the necessary documentation required by hospitals is completed and financial assistance is secured.

The initiative is expected to speed up administrative procedures, enabling needy patients to receive timely treatment. It will also help ensure that the benefits of government medical assistance schemes reach citizens more effectively and efficiently.
