Action is also being taken in a transparent manner to fill the vacancy of guest teachers in the state

Arrangement of guest teachers has been made by the School Education Department for the vacant posts of teachers in government schools in the state. All the proceedings related to their application and joining are being done through online process. Such government schools, where guest teachers were working last year and that school also had a vacant post in this academic session. Such concerned guest teachers are giving online joining on the portal themselves. In this academic session, the department has started the process of online choice filling for the convenience of guest teachers. With this system, guest teachers are getting suitable schools on the basis of merit. It was clarified by the School Education Department that such applicants, who have passed the eligibility test. They have been given 30 marks and guest teachers already working have been given a maximum of 20 marks at the rate of 4 marks per year on the basis of their experience. The department has prepared their score card using this method. The process of allocating schools to guest teachers is being done on the basis of merit of the score card.

51 thousand 558 guest teachers have already give attendance

The guest teacher invitation system in the state has been made completely online. As per the instructions of the High Court, the panel of guest teachers prepared at the school level in the past years has been registered online on the GFMS portal.

The online invitation facility to the guest teachers working in the previous academic session from the said panel has been made available on the login of the guest teacher himself. After its verification by the school in-charge, the joining of the concerned guest teacher has been done online in the concerned school. So far, under this system, 51 thousand 558 guest teachers have given attendance in various government schools. After this arrangement, guest teachers have been provided application facility for new vacancies in government schools, in which the vacant posts are being selected online by the applicant itself.

More than 2 lakh applicants have applied in 31 thousand 268 government schools with new vacancies. These applicants have selected the option. The School Education Department will soon allocate schools to the applicants through online method only.
