‘Boiler India 2024’ – A Three-Day Exhibition in Navi Mumbai: Director Dhawal Antapurkar
Navi Mumbai : Efforts are being made to boost the steam boiler industry by bridging the gap between industry and government. Aiming to promote the safe and efficient use of boilers, the Directorate of Steam Boilers, under the Department of Labour, Government of Maharashtra, has announced the “Boiler India 2024” exhibition, to be held from September 25 to 27, 2024, at the CIDCO Exhibition Center, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The announcement was made by Dhawal Antapurkar, Director of the Directorate of Steam Boilers.
The exhibition will be inaugurated at 10:30 AM by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The event will see the participation of dignitaries from the political field, government officials, and industry leaders.
During the exhibition, the Boiler Manufacturing Management Software (BMMS) system will be launched. BMMS will streamline the boiler manufacturing process and its parts, making it faster, more transparent, and efficient. With BMMS, every stage of production can be documented on a single platform, improving coordination between manufacturers and regulators. This software will not only enhance industrial efficiency but also play a significant role in ensuring worker safety.
The exhibition will showcase various machines and equipment related to steam boilers. Additionally, the three-day event will feature seminars and discussions to highlight new technologies and advancements in the boiler industry. Experts in the field will provide guidance on the safe and efficient use of boilers.
Key topics to be discussed during the seminars include safety measures to prevent accidents, improving industrial efficiency with new technologies, and adopting green solutions to minimize environmental damage. This initiative aims to help industries ensure safety and increase productivity.
The exhibition will also cover topics such as the safe use of boilers, the latest technologies for manufacturing heat exchangers and pressure vessels, and innovations in the boiler sector. Through the exhibition, seminars, and workshops, it will provide opportunities for skill development and employment.
