Chief Minister At The Serchhip Teachers’ Association General Assembly For Golden Jubilee Celebration

On this day, the Serchhip Teachers’ Association (STA) held its General Assembly and celebrated its Golden Jubilee at the Serchhip Auditorium, where the MLA Trophy (Inter School Challenge) was also presented. Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma attended the event.

In his address, the Chief Minister expressed that as the UT government has made progress, we should not fall short in our efforts. He emphasized that timely action by the government is essential, especially as they aim to improve local infrastructure and education. He noted that the Mizoram government is committed to enhancing services, with an emphasis on the importance of timely recruitment in the state. He highlighted the need for Mizo candidates to excel in examinations conducted by organizations like the SSC, Railway Recruitment Board, and IBPS.

The Chief Minister urged that support should be provided for the preparation of banking exams and other central subordinate exams. He encouraged the community to take advantage of schemes designed to promote educational talent and athletic skills among the youth.

He commended the STA for working towards the betterment of the people of Serchhip. He acknowledged that the district can achieve high educational standards comparable to other regions in India. The collective effort of the community and the state can foster a supportive environment for learning and growth.

The Chief Minister presented the Golden Jubilee Souvenir and the MLA Trophy (Inter School Challenge), celebrating the achievements of the students and schools.

The event was presided over by Pu VL Chanchinthahrilmawia, President of the STA, with Pi C. Krosthangi delivering the opening remarks, and Pu Vanlalvuana sharing thoughts of gratitude during the ceremony. The gathering was well-attended by local leaders and community members.
