Chief Minister Presides Over State-Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee Meeting in Gandhinagar
Gandhinagar : A state-level Vigilance and Monitoring Control Committee meeting was held in Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel. This committee was established in accordance with the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Rules, 2018. The Committee members praised the state government’s commendable efforts in implementing various welfare schemes for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and backward classes. Notable programs include the Manav Garima Yojana, Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Educational Loan for Overseas Studies, and Samras Hostels, which provide accommodation for students from rural areas pursuing education in cities.
The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Shri Kanubhai Desai, Tribal Development Minister Shri Kuber Dindor, Minister For Social Justice and Empowerment Smt. Bhanuben Babariya, Minister of State for Home Shri Harsh Sanghavi, and Chief Secretary Raj Kumar. The elected MLAs and MPs from the reserved seats for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, including Shri Jasvantsinh Bhabhor, Shri Prabhubhai Vasava, Shri Vinodbhai Chavda, Shri Dinesh Makwana, and others, also participated in this meeting.
