Lok Sabha MP Visits Mumbai to Oversee Site for New Mizoram House

Mizoram Lok Sabha MP, Pu Richard Vanlalhmangaiha, visited Mumbai from October 21st to 24th. During his visit, he inspected a proposed site for the new Mizoram House in Navi Mumbai.

The site in Navi Mumbai had been identified for the construction of the Mizoram House some years ago, but various challenges had prevented the project from progressing. After the site inspection, the MP met with representatives from US Roofs Ltd., a real estate development company with whom the Mizoram government had been negotiating. He discussed the difficulties encountered so far in moving the project forward.

Additionally, the MP held a meeting with Vijay Singhal, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO), in his office to address issues related to the project and seek solutions.

During his visit, Pu Richard also called on the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, delivering a letter from the Chief Minister of Mizoram, which outlined the challenges the Mizoram government faced regarding the project and requested assistance.

The MP further visited the existing Mizoram House in Parel Veng, where he provided financial assistance to patients undergoing treatment. He also met with Pu C. Lalrosanga, former MP, who was present for medical reasons.
