Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Shri Vasudev Devnani Meets Bali Assembly Chairman Shri Deva Mad Mahayadnaya

Jaipur : Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani on Monday visited the Indonesian Bali Assembly House, observing its various galleries and building. Shri Devnani paid a courtesy visit to Assembly Chairman Shri Dewa Made Mahayadnya. During this meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the electoral systems, parliamentary systems, Sanskrit language, tourism, education, employment, and international trade relations of India and Indonesia, as well as on the proceedings, working systems, house operations, parliamentary traditions, and rules of both assemblies. Shri Devnani suggested to Shri Mahayadnya the introduction of a yoga-meditation practice program for the members, officials, and staff of the Bali Assembly.

The Bali Assembly Chairman requested Shri Devnani to encourage Indian investment in Bali’s tourist spots. Shri Devnani also invited the Bali government to invest in various sectors in India and Rajasthan. He mentioned that, under the leadership of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India’s government policies are succeeding on an international level. Numerous countries are taking initiatives to invest in various sectors in India, enhancing India’s global reputation. Chairman Mahayadnya presented Shri Devnani with a Garuda memento to commemorate his visit to Indonesia.

Lunch Hosted in Honor of Shri Devnani— A luncheon was organized by the Consul General of India in Bali, Shri Shashank Vikram, in honor of Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani. This event saw the presence of Member of Parliament Shri Arya Veda, Indian-origin legislator Dr. Saumveer, the Indian Ambassador, and several distinguished citizens. During the occasion, discussions were held on the tourist spots in both countries and the innovations being implemented in their assemblies. Shri Vikram presented Shri Devnani with a Garuda commemorative plaque in his honor.

Shri Devnani Visits Historical Statue of Lord Vishnu and Garuda in Bali— Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani visited the grand and historic statue of Lord Vishnu and his mount Garuda located on the Indonesian island of Bali. The statue stands 122 feet tall, with Garuda’s wings spanning a width of 64 feet. This massive statue is crafted from copper and brass.
