Education Minister Attends Youth Parliament Program
Jaipur : Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Madan Dilawar visited the Youth Parliament Program held at PM SHRI School, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, located in Khairabad under the Ramganj Mandi Assembly constituency of Kota.
The Education Minister formally inaugurated the Youth Parliament by lighting a lamp before Goddess Saraswati. He then interacted with all members of the symbolic cabinet, from the Prime Minister to the Leader of the Opposition. Before the commencement of the Youth Parliament, Shri Madan Dilawar addressed the audience, urging everyone to maintain decorum. He instructed that there should be no clapping, talking, or noise during the session, and all mobile phones must remain switched off. He emphasized preserving the dignity of this symbolic parliamentary event.
At the beginning of the session, the minister stood in silence for two minutes to pay homage to departed leaders during the tribute ceremony.
Encouraging students to witness the workings of the Lok Sabha, Shri Dilawar mentioned that he would request Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla to arrange for the students to visit. During the event, he honored Avni Jain, who played the role of the Education Minister, Radhika, who represented the Opposition MP, and Devashree Hada, who acted as the Lok Sabha Speaker, for their excellent performances.
Announcement of Solar Lights and RO Installation
During the program, the Education and Panchayati Raj Minister announced the installation of a solar system for solar lighting and an RO system to ensure the availability of pure drinking water at the school.
