Hope Restored: Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana Saves Naveen Goyal’s Life

The Goyal family of Pratapgarh village of Sitapur block of Surguja district was hit by a mountain of trouble when it came to light that Naveen Jagdev Goyal, the only support of the family, has a kidney problem and needs a transplant. For a normal family, such a sudden health-related problem is difficult, and along with this, the illness also comes with huge expenses. 48-year-old Naveen is survived by his wife and two children studying in Class 7th and 10th. Naveen supports his family with the clothes and cosmetic business; the costly treatment exhausted his savings and he had to close his business.

Naveen says that when he got himself examined, it was found that his condition was very serious and a kidney transplant would have to be done immediately. It was a very difficult time for us. He got his first checkup done after which he was referred to GR Doshi & KM Mehta Institute of Kidney and Research Center in Ahmedabad.

Naveen and his family were very worried about how to bear the cost of treatment, and during this time they came to know about the ‘Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana’. He inquired about this from the Health Department and some of his acquaintances. Naveen was sanctioned assistance under the ‘Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana’ for the treatment of serious illness, due to which he was treated and the family has breathed a sigh of relief. Now happiness has returned to the life of the Goyal family, the entire family has expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai for his sensitive initiative. It is worth mentioning that under the Chief Minister Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana, financial assistance of up to Rs 25 lakh is given for the treatment of serious diseases.
