Indigenous spirit of start-up and vocal-for-local put the country’s economy ahead of England: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the inspirational call for indigenous start-ups, Make-in-India and vocal-for-local has sparked a renaissance of entrepreneurship in the country. Today, India has become the 5th largest economic power in the world, leaving England behind.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Swadeshi Fair in Balaghat on Tuesday. Dr. Yadav also visited the exhibition of government departments at the fair. He also provided offer letters and disability certificates to the youth and interacted with the youth present. Swadeshi thinker Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi attended as a special guest. The Chief Minister thanked Shri Bhaiyyaji Joshi for coming to the Swadeshi Fair.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the meaning of fair is interaction and it is important to promote cultural interaction along with trade. He said that the Swadeshi Fair has been organized continuously at various places since 1999. Small and big industries have been strengthened by the display and sale of indigenous products at the Swadeshi Fair started in Mumbai. This is not just a fair but the form of Mini India is being seen in the form of an indigenous fair. Here one gets an opportunity to see the folk art and craftsmanship of different provinces at one place and on one stage.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that earlier our country used to be a Sone ki Chidiya, we were the world’s top economy, and our industries, businesses, spices, and miraculous textiles like silk and muslin were famous all over the world. It is said that the muslin made in Dhaka could pass through a ring. The British weakened our indigenous strength. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the encouragement and inspiration of the Prime Minister, the youth of the country as well as the state understood the serious and visionary message of becoming job givers and not job seekers. Today we have more than 37 thousand indigenous start-ups active here. Our youth are becoming job creators by becoming entrepreneurs.

State’s economy moving ahead with Regional Industry Conclave

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we have also received encouragement from the Prime Minister to take forward the concept of a Regional Industry Conclave in the state. Our efforts were successful, we also successfully organized the Regional Industry Conclave in cities like Sagar, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior, and Jabalpur and now soon we are going to organize it in Narmadapuram also. The 250 hectares of land reserved earlier for industry in Narmadapuram has been increased to 500 hectares. We will increase it to 750 hectares. Proposals for setting up renewable energy parks and other industries have also been received. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that investment proposals worth more than Rs 2.5 lakh crore have been received from the Regional Industry Conclave held so far and these are expected to create 2 lakh jobs.

The Chief Minister said that we are ready to go to every level to make the policy industry-friendly to promote entrepreneurship. He said that to promote entrepreneurship, we are also giving initial assistance of Rs 5,000 per employee as remuneration to the industries.

17 medical colleges in the state

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is committed to providing good health and medical facilities to every citizen of the state. There were 5 medical colleges in the state in 2003-04, which we have increased to 17. Not only this, the number of private medical colleges in the state has also increased to 13. 12 more government colleges will be established in the coming year. Besides, 13 new Ayurvedic colleges will also be opened, one of which will also be opened in Balaghat.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised the Swadeshi Fair and said that displaying Ayurvedic medicines for sale here is a good initiative. During Covid, the entire country understood the importance of the life-saving power of our indigenous Ayurvedic medical system. Ayurveda has immense potential, hence the state government is leaving no stone unturned to promote it.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to the efforts of the government, today the state budget has increased from Rs. 3.25 lakh crore to Rs. 3.5 lakh crore. Our target is to take it to Rs 7 lakh crore, so that we can make a significant contribution to Prime Minister Shri Modi’s goal of making the country a 5 trillion dollar economy by 2027.

Fair is an integral part of our life

In the inauguration of the Swadeshi fair organized in Balaghat, Swadeshi thinker Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi said that fairs are an integral part of our life and by the inclusion of Swadeshi in them, we are becoming economically powerful. Shri Joshi praised the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi and said that due to his efforts, India is becoming a world leader in all fields. We have developed so much in the field of medicine and health that today even foreigners come to India for treatment.

Former minister Shri Gaurishankar Bisen, organizers, and a large number of villagers were present at the Swadeshi fair. In this, tribal artists presented attractive folk dances.
