ADG Prayagraj Zone inaugurates the fourth police station

Mahakumbh Nagar : In preparation for the grand and divine Mahakumbh 2025, the Yogi Adityanath government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure robust security arrangements. Committed to providing a safe and peaceful experience for millions of devotees, the Uttar Pradesh Police has taken a significant step with the inauguration of the fourth police station in the Mahakumbh Mela area.

The new facility, inaugurated by ADG Prayagraj Zone Bhanu Bhaskar on Friday, marks a crucial addition to the extensive security infrastructure planned for the event. In total, 56 police stations are planned to enhance security during the event.

The state government is actively monitoring preparations to ensure the safety and convenience of millions of devotees who come to take a holy dip at the Sangam. To this end, the Uttar Pradesh Police is working tirelessly to provide a secure and seamless experience for all participants.

During the inauguration at Akshay Vat, ADG Prayagraj also inspected the facilities at the newly constructed police station. SSP Mahakumbh Rajesh Dwivedi noted that the ADG reviewed the quality of food provided to jawans and assessed the overall welfare and working conditions of the police force.

Out of the 56 police stations, four have been completed and are now operational. Construction of the remaining stations is progressing rapidly, and they will be commissioned soon to ensure comprehensive security coverage for the devotees.
