Krishak Unnati Yojana: Boosting Agriculture with Tech & Empowering Farmers

Krishak Unnati Yojana has been started with the aim of improving the economic condition of farmers in Chhattisgarh. The aim of this scheme is to give farmers an opportunity to sell their crops at a fair price and to promote advanced techniques for agriculture. Through this, purchase of paddy, use of modern agricultural machinery and investment in new agricultural techniques are being encouraged.

Mr. Komal Sahu, a farmer of Bhatgaon village in Dhamtari district, says that he received Rs. 1,51,000 under the Kisan Unnati Yojana for the paddy sold by him at the support price. He got a bore dug with this amount and bought a buffalo. He happily says that we farmers do work, but getting money under the scheme is helping us in increasing farming work and other facilities. For this, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister of the state, Mr. Vishnudev Sai. Let us tell you that under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, farmers are being provided input assistance of Rs. 19,257 per acre.
