Kavita Khan believes that every difficulty can be overcome with determination. She has proved that if women are determined to make their dreams come true, they can set a new example of self-reliance. The Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Yojana also has an important role behind Kavita’s success, which has given many others like her the opportunity to realize their dreams.

The central and state governments are working with commitment for the welfare of women and to advance them in every field. The concept of women empowerment is being realized today through the schemes of the government. By taking advantage of various government schemes, women are not only standing on their own feet but are also helping in the upbringing of their families. Kavita Khan of Kondagaon is one such woman who has made her mark as a successful entrepreneur today by taking advantage of the government scheme with her hard work and dedication. Her success is not only her personal success story but is also a source of inspiration for other women of the district.

The journey began with difficult circumstances

Kavita wanted to become self-reliant by starting her own business, but this path was not easy for her. It was a big challenge to leave home and start her own business. Initially, she used to run her bakery from home. Her dream was to open a bakery shop but financial problems made her path even more difficult.

Employment generation scheme gave new direction to the hopes

The financial assistance received under the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Yojana became a new ray of hope for Kavita. With the inspiration of her mother, she started a bakery shop named Dream Cakes and Bakes in Kondagaon by combining her savings and loan amount. She had to face many difficulties in the beginning, but the support of her husband and family helped her to move forward with confidence.

Kavita said that initially it was difficult to manage both the house and the business. But if one wants to become self-reliant, one has to face difficulties. After this, she took a loan of Rs 5.5 lakh from the bank, which included a term loan of Rs 3 lakh and a CC loan of Rs 2.5 lakh. With this amount and her savings, she purchased the necessary machinery and materials.

Today her bakery shop is running well. Every month she earns about 30 to 40 thousand rupees. She told that she is running the business with the help of two employees. The support of her husband and children became the strong foundation of her success. Kavita thanked the central and state governments for making her dreams come true with the help of the government scheme.
