Inauguration of ‘Lokrajya Rare Issues’ Exhibition in Vidhan Bhavan Complex
Ministers, MLAs, and administrative officials visited and appreciated the exhibition
Nagpur : The rare issues of Lokrajya are a priceless treasure of information, and to preserve and conserve these, instructions to digitize these issues were given by the Principal Secretary and Director-General of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Brijesh Singh, during the inauguration of the Lokrajya Rare Issues Exhibition in the Vidhan Bhavan complex.

The exhibition, organized by the Nagpur-Amravati Division Director’s office, was visited and appreciated by ministers, MLAs, and administrative officials, recognizing it as a repository of information about the state’s glorious heritage.
During the inauguration, the Director (Information) of the Nagpur-Amravati Division, Dr. Ganesh Mule, Editor and Director (Information) (News and Public Relations) of Lokrajya, Dayanand Kamble, Director (Information) of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Division, Kishor Gangurde, senior journalist Dharmendra Jore, Nagpur District Information Officer Vinod Rapatwar, Wardha District Information Officer Ravi Gite, Chandrapur District Information Officer Rajesh Yesankar, and others were present.
Principal Secretary Brijesh Singh inspected the exhibition. He also gave instructions to use digitization and other modern methods to reach this treasure of rare issues to more readers. He appreciated the display of the rare issues.
The exhibition displayed rare issues containing diverse information
Issues from 1964 onward were exhibited. Special issues published on the occasion of the birth centenary of Sant Dnyaneshwar and Late Sripad Krishna Kolhatkar, Marathi musical theater, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Phule, Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, Yashwantrao Chavan, Marathwada development, and cultural issues, along with special Independence Day issues, as well as information about great personalities, cultural, geographical, and economic diversity from Maharashtra, and government welfare schemes, including 150 issues, were displayed here.

Since it was the first day of the legislative session, there was hustle and bustle of members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council in the Vidhan Bhavan complex. As soon as the attractive exhibition of Lokrajya Rare Issues was noticed, they visited the exhibition. They also gave their feedback after inspecting it. Many took photographs by posing at the selfie stand set up at the location.
Among the visitors were ministers, Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, MLAs Shri Praveen Darekar, Chitra Wagh, Babusingh Rathod, Abu Azmi, Srijaya Chavan, Suhas Babar, Devarao Bhongle, and others. Senior officials, including Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department Iqbal Singh Chahal, Deputy Secretary of the Forest Department Vivek Hoshing, and Under Secretary from the Deputy Chief Minister’s Office Dhiraj Abhang, also visited the exhibition. The exhibition will be available for viewing every day during the session from 9 AM.
