The Bengal that once showed India the path of renaissance is today struggling with despair and lamentation, he remarked.

CM Yogi said that Bengal, which once played a significant role in advancing Indian values, is now facing a crisis. The Bengal that once gave the national anthem and national song to the country is now in a state of despair, he stated.

He remarked, “Congress and Trinamool Congress are conspiring in two ways in Bengal. Firstly, there is a nefarious attempt to change the demography by letting infiltrators in.

Secondly, an alliance of Congress and Trinamool Congress is seeking to conspire together in Delhi.”

During a public meeting in support of BJP candidate Devtanu Bhattacharya from Birbhum, the Chief Minister mentioned, “Incidents of rioting took place in Bengal during Ram Navami, with instances of vandalism during the processions. A similar scenario existed in Uttar Pradesh; however, within seven years, not a single curfew or riot took place there. Ram Navami is enthusiastically celebrated across the state, with numerous processions occurring.”

Additionally, Durga Puja is observed at 50,000 locations in the state without any incidents of rioting. It is said today ‘No Curfew – No Danga, UP Mein Sab Changa (No curfew, no riot, everything’s fine in UP), he further added.

CM Yogi said, “It is quite regrettable to see the situation in Bengal today. It’s not just me; the souls of those great revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for India’s independence and envisioned ‘Sonar Bangla’ must be saddened because of the rule of Congress, Communists, and Trinamool Congress. Bengal is no longer the ‘Sonar Bangla’.”

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to realizing the vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Viksit Bharat’. This will also make Bengal self-reliant.

In Asansol, CM Yogi remarked that saying “Jai Shri Ram” in Bengal is met with prohibitions, and uttering these words often leads to gunfire. False cases are filed by the government.

The land of Bengal, which has been a beacon of culture, art, and values for the entire nation, now witnesses incidents of intolerance, with the Trinamool government aiding criminals. Mamata Didi’s affection is not for the people of Bengal but for the criminals. The situation in Bengal worries every Indian.

In Asansol, CM Yogi said that the act of uttering “Jai Shri Ram” in Bengal is met with restrictions and sometimes even gunfire, with the government often filing false cases.

Bengal, historically a symbol of culture, art, and values for the nation, now experiences the incident of Sandeshkhali with the Trinamool government allegedly supporting criminals.

“Mamata Didi’s favour seems directed more towards criminals than the people of Bengal. The state of affairs in Bengal is a cause of concern for every Indian”, he noted.

The Chief Minister advocated for a safe and prosperous Bengal. Bengal also needs a model like Uttar Pradesh. When the Kothari brothers sacrificed their lives, they rallied with the slogan “Ram Lalla Ham Ayenge, Mandir Wahi Banenge”.

He pointed out the reasons behind the country’s partition in 1947 based on religion. People from the Congress and Trinamool within Bengal are trying to recreate the same situation. In Birbhum, the demographics of three out of seven assembly constituencies have changed. Mamata Didi is making the people of Asansol yearn for water, he remarked.
