Mumbai : Instructions for preparation of well-planned plans regarding environment and climate change, future goal policies, solid waste management, Majhi Vasundhara campaign, water, air pollution, river and lake conservation, environment conservation and conservation awareness activities Minister for Environment and Climate Change and Animal Husbandry Pankaja Munde gave a review meeting of the department held at Sahyadri Guest House.

Minister Smt. Munde said that solid waste management in the state, water, air pollution control, river and lake conservation, environment conservation and conservation awareness activities, state level river conservation scheme, regulation of special coastal reserve areas, local self government solid waste management, plastic eradication, state River Conservation Scheme, Maharashtra Environment Information System Centre, Srishti Mitra Award, Effective Implementation of Majhi Vansudhara Mission, Formulation of Guidelines for Eco-Friendly Environment, Biological Waste Regulations, Environment Conservation and Conservation Working of committees at state, district and village level, establishment of environmental clubs. Detailed planning should be done to make special efforts for the conservation of wetlands. Accordingly, special efforts will be made to speed up the work of the environment department in the state.

To speed up the schemes in animal husbandry department

Mrs. Munde also reviewed the animal husbandry department of the state on this occasion. Establishment and progress of the department, mission policies of the department, livestock in the state, state and central sponsored schemes, integrated survey scheme livestock census, district annual plan, Vidarbha Marathwada Dairy Development Project, Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Maharashtra Sheep and Goat Development Corporation, special efforts to accelerate the schemes of the animal husbandry department in the state. will be done.

Maharashtra Pollution Control Board Chairman Siddesh Kadam, Animal Husbandry Department Additional Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar, Environment and Climate Change Department Principal Secretary Pravin Darade, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board Member Secretary Avinash Dhakne and other officials attended the meeting.

On this occasion, the officers present presented detailed information about the plans, current status and future planning of the department.
