Children are getting nutritious food from the nutrition garden of Panchmandir Anganwadi, physical and mental development is taking place

In Panch Mandir Anganwadi Center under Surajpur district, Anganwadi worker Mrs. Anita Thakur and colleagues have developed a nutrition garden in an advanced form. In this nutrition garden, various types of vegetables like potato, red vegetable, spinach, radish, coriander, garlic, cabbage, mustard, brinjal, lentil etc. are being produced. From this nutrition garden, children and women are getting not only fresh but also nutritious vegetables every day. Anganwadi worker Ms. Anita told that in this Anganwadi center, a nutrition garden has been developed by her and her daughter and colleagues. She told that 42 children from 06 months to 03 years, 24 children from 03 to 06 years, 07 pregnant women and 05 lactating women are registered in the center. She told that every day she provides salad, fresh green vegetables to the children as food. She said that by taking nutritious food from the nutrition garden, children not only consume food with great interest but the food also has a very good effect on their body.

Anganwadi worker Ms. Anita Thakur told that she is providing the benefits of nutritious vegetables from the Poshan Vatika to children aged 3 to 6 years and pregnant women. She told that she takes care of children aged 3 to 6 years. Adequate attention is also given to their studies and sports. She also makes the parents of the children aware about proper health care along with good food. In Anganwadi, she makes people aware about timely vaccination of children, vaccination of pregnant women and food.
