As part of the 2024-2025 budget announcement, the board has initiated the allocation of electric potter’s wheels and clay kneading machines (Pugmills) to 1,000 clay workers across the state. On Monday, the board conducted a lottery to select 160 clay workers from eight districts for this allocation.

The lottery event was held in the auditorium of Udyog Bhawan, presided over by the board’s chairman, Prahlad Rai Tak, in the presence of public representatives from Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Dausa, Tonk, Bundi, Kota, and Baran districts. Mr. Tak announced that 20 beneficiaries have been selected from each district.

He also noted that 13,000 applications were received from across the state, and the state government has set a target to benefit 1,000 clay workers under the 2024-2025 budget, which will be achieved within the current fiscal year.
