“We have kept all mafia under control” : CM Yogi

Lok Sabha 24 : Siddharthnagar – Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday accused the previous SP government of allowing goons and mafia to unite and join the administration, leading to widespread looting. Launching a scathing attack on the party, he said daughters and traders were unsafe, the poor were dying of hunger, farmers were committing suicide, and the youth were migrating during their regime.

Addressing a public meeting at Gopal Krishna Gokhale Shiksha Sadan in Shohratgarh, Siddharthnagar, the Chief Minister recounted his tenure as an MP in Gorakhpur, stating, “I used to challenge the mafia alone and beat them up. I told traders to punish them. Since 1996, we have not allowed a single trader in Gorakhpur to be extorted. Any remaining mafia were also punished. That’s why Gorakhpur developed, and now it feels like Baba Gorakhnath is blessing this city. The same is true about Ayodhya as well.”

During this, he appealed to vote for Dumariyaganj MP and Lok Sabha candidate Jagdambika Pal. “The SP had only one slogan, ‘Khaali plot par hamara kabja’. To remove their encroachments and deal with the mafia and goons, we introduced the bulldozer”, Yogi added.

CM Yogi stated that riots were common during the SP regime, affecting areas like Shohratgarh, Dumariyaganj, Etawah, and Kapilvastu, where two Yadavs were killed in Bishunpur. “Filing an FIR was a challenge under the SP government. As an MP from Gorakhpur, I intervened to ensure the FIR was registered. In Dumariyaganj, a disabled girl was molested, and SP members shamelessly protected the accused. We agitated to secure justice for the family, but now, no wrongdoer can commit atrocities. They know that if the safety of daughters, businessmen, or pedestrians is threatened, they will be eradicated”, he  added.

Yogi stated that a mafia from Gorakhpur, previously expelled by the people, is now contesting elections here. No decent individuals would support him, only the mafia and goons. These individuals rob people of their hard-earned money and indulge in corruption. Because of their corrupt activities, the CBI and ED recently raided and seized their properties. These professional mafias suck the blood of the poor, harass businessmen, and make life difficult for decent people.”

CM Yogi said that by taking action against these goons and mafia, the government provides security to the common people. “Do not create a monster by sending them to any important position. The future of the country and your vote is your decision; hence you need to exercise caution. Not a single criminal, mafia-goon, Deshdrohi, or Ramdrohi should get your vote. A self-respecting society, if it elects a mafia and criminal, dooms the future generations to darkness.”

CM Yogi stated that by taking action against goons and mafias, the government ensures the security of the common people. He urged the public not to empower these ‘Bhasmasur’ by electing them to important positions.

Emphasizing the future of the country and the significance of each vote, he said, “You must decide the future of the coming generations. Not a single criminal, mafia-goon, ‘Deshdrohi’, or ‘Ramdrohi’ should receive your vote. A self-respecting society that elects mafias and criminals condemns its future generations to darkness.”

He said that thanks to BJP’s rule, the Shohratgarh to Gorakhpur, Balrampur road, and all other roads, including Barhni, have become operational. A medical college has been established in Siddharthnagar in the name of former BJP President Madhav Prasad Tripathi. AIIMS and a fertilizer plant started in Gorakhpur. Kapilvastu is also being developed.

Yogi remarked, “Nowadays, even if a firecracker explodes, Pakistan denies involvement. Despite Pakistan trembling before India, Ramdrohis claim not to provoke Pakistan due to its possession of atomic bombs. However, we reassure them, saying that don’t worry, we possess a more powerful atom bomb than Pakistan.”

The Chief Minister mentioned that  ‘Ram Bhakts’ have united, along with those against ‘Ramdrohis’. He emphasized that the hallmark of Ram Bhakts is their contribution to the nation’s dignity, elevating everyone’s esteem, safeguarding the nation, and ensuring the safety of all citizens. Moreover, they have eradicated terrorism and Naxalism, enhancing overall security.

“SP goons, who fired on Ram devotees, could not build the Ram temple. Even today, they oppose the Ram temple. They say the Ram temple is useless. Those who call the Ram temple useless have lost their senses. Get such people’s deposits forfeited in elections because those who are not Ram’s, are of no use to us. Ram opponents have nothing to do with development. If they come to power, they will give the rights of the backward classes to Muslims. If they come to power, they will bring in personal law and establish Taliban-like rule. Taliban-like rule is not acceptable in India. If they come to power, they will impose an inheritance tax on your property. Modern Britishers from America talk about inheritance tax in India.”

CM Yogi emphasized that despite the efforts of SP goons to hinder the construction of the Ram temple, they failed in their attempts. Even today, these individuals continue to oppose the Ram temple, disregarding its profound significance. Those who undermine the importance of the Ram temple have lost sight of reality.

He proposed that those who lack respect for Lord Ram hold no value for the community. They would likely favour Muslims over backward classes and enforce personal laws similar to Taliban-like governance, which is unacceptable in India. Additionally, they would implement an inheritance tax on property. The British of modern India, who came from America, talk about inheritance tax in India.

On this occasion, State Government Minister Rakesh Sachan, Dumariyaganj MP and Lok Sabha candidate Jagdambika Pal, BJP District President Kanhaiya Paswan, MLA Jai Pratap Singh, Shyamadhani Rahi, Vinay Verma, District Panchayat President Sheetal Singh, former MLA Gippy Tiwari, Raghavendra Pratap Singh etc. were present.
