Metro Rail Announces Complete Block on Green Line for CBTC System Testing
Vide a Press Release, Metro Rail authorities have brought it to the notice of its commuters that:
There shall be imposed a complete block along the GREEN LINE from 13.02.2025 TO 16.02.2025 and 20.02.2025 TO 23.02.2025.
On successful completion of tunneling work between Esplanade and Sealdah stations, Metro Railway, Kolkata is now planning to grant complete Traffic Block in two spells i.e., from 13.02.2025 to 16.02.2025 and from 20.02.2025 to 23.02.2025 (four days each including Saturdays and Sundays) for testing of Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) System for the entire Green Line Metro Corridor from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V.
Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
