Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the National Cadet Corps (NCC) provides students with discipline and enthusiasm. Wearing the NCC uniform, with a sense of patriotism, capability, cooperation, and coexistence, gives a special feeling of self-confidence. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is becoming increasingly stronger, and the whole world is looking at it with hope. In this scenario, the responsibility of the Indian youth generation increases. Celebrating festivals with the armed forces under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi assures our armed forces that society and the government stand with them. It is a matter of pride for NCC students to celebrate the national festival of Republic Day in the company of such a personality. This occasion will be unforgettable for every cadet.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the NCC participants at the Chief Minister’s residence, who had participated in the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi in 2025.
The Chief Minister honored the NCC cadets at the Chief Minister’s residence and wished them a bright future. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also presented awards to the outstanding participants in various categories. The event was attended by School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, ADG Major General Shri Vikrant M. Dhumne from the NCC Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh Directorate, and other officials.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav mentioned that 2,361 cadets from 28 states and 8 Union Territories gathered at the camp in New Delhi on Republic Day. He emphasized that NCC is a school of unity and discipline, and its experiences will guide cadets for life. He stated that India is one of the oldest countries in the world, and there has been no shortage of sacrifices for the nation. There is a long history of sacrifices made by children for the protection of the country and religion in India. Through the excellent values given by families in the Indian cultural environment, youth have contributed to the nation and society with a sense of dedication. Currently, India is the youngest country in the world. Many countries have progressed on the intellectual strength of India. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the youth of India are finding the present time favorable to bring the nation to the highest position in the world. Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts were that the 21st century will belong to India, and the youth generation will undoubtedly succeed in achieving this goal through dedication, capability, and competence.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored Senior Under Officer Kaushiki Shukla, who secured the first position in the All India Best Cadet Competition, with a check for one lakh rupees as a Chief Minister’s prize. Similarly, Aryan Sen, who also won the All India Best Cadet Competition, was awarded a check for one lakh rupees. Srishti Mishra and Nadia Panhotra, who secured second place in the competition, were awarded 75 thousand rupees each. Vasundhara Dubey, who won first place in the Remount and Veterinary Corps equestrian competition, was awarded one lakh rupees. Ayush Gautam, who was a finalist in the All India Idea and Innovation Competition, received 50 thousand rupees. Arhamna Tanveer and Nandini Singh, who secured first place in the shooting competition, were each awarded 50 thousand rupees. Arshika Mishra, who was selected for the national-level shooting competition, was awarded 50 thousand rupees. Each cadet from the Special Unity Camp was presented with 2,000 rupees as the Chief Minister’s prize.
