Himachal CM Celebrates Holi with Congress Leaders and Residents at Oak Over

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu extended his warm Holi greetings to the people of the state. The celebrations at Oak Over, his official residence in Shimla, saw the participation of Congress leaders, party workers, and local residents, who exchanged festive wishes.

Later, CM Sukhu, accompanied by Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, State Congress President Pratibha Singh, Health Minister Col (Dr) Dhani Ram Shandil, PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, and MLAs Sanjay Awasthi and Kamlesh Thakur, visited Raj Bhawan to extend Holi greetings to Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla. He also celebrated the festival of colors at his official residence in Shimla.

Speaking to ANI, CM Sukhu said, “I extend my heartiest greetings to everyone on this vibrant festival of colours.” PCC President Pratibha Singh also joined the celebrations at the Chief Minister’s residence. Wishing the people of Himachal Pradesh, she said, “May this festival bring the colours of happiness, peace, and prosperity to every home.”

Earlier, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi shared his Holi wishes on his official ‘X’ handle, posting: “Wishing you all a very happy Holi. May this festival of colours bring new enthusiasm, excitement, and happiness into your life.”

Across the country, people are joyfully celebrating Holi by applying gulal, dancing, and embracing the spirit of togetherness. Also known as the festival of colours, Holi marks the arrival of spring, the victory of good over evil, and the celebration of life.
