Minister Meghna Sakore-Bordikar Joins Banjara Community’s Vibrant Holi Celebrations
The Banjara community in Adgaon Tanda, Jintur Taluka, celebrated Holi with great enthusiasm in their traditional style. Women, dressed in colorful traditional attire, performed mesmerizing dances, adding vibrancy to the festival.
In this unique celebration, Maharashtra’s Minister of State for Women and Child Welfare, Meghna Sakore-Bordikar, actively participated. Upon the request of the Banjara women, she donned traditional attire and joined in the joyous dance.
The festival was marked by traditional Lengi songs, folk dances, and a spirited display of colors. On this occasion, the minister emphasized the importance of unity and positive social change within the community. A large number of people gathered to participate, making the cultural celebration even more lively and memorable.
