According to Upendra Singh Shekhawat, Deputy Director of the Jaipur Tourist Welcome Center, this special Holi festival was organized exclusively for foreign visitors. Around 3,000 international tourists participated in the celebration, joyfully playing dry Holi and dancing to the tunes of Rajasthani folk artists. Dressed in traditional Indian attire—kurta and pajama, they fully immersed themselves in the festivities.
The event also featured special activities and competitions that engaged the tourists. Highlights included the Matka Race and Safa Tying Competition, which saw enthusiastic participation from the visitors.

Adding to the charm, the folk artists presented mesmerizing cultural performances, showcasing the rich heritage of Rajasthan. The atmosphere was filled with the splash of colors and the beats of folk music, making the event a true spectacle. Tourists danced joyfully, greeting each other with “Happy Holi” and applying gulal as a gesture of friendship and goodwill.
Dhulandi, celebrated a day after Holika Dahan, marks the arrival of spring and is observed across India with great fervor. Traditional sweets and delicacies are prepared, and people of all ages come together to play with colors and water, forgetting differences and embracing unity and joy.
